Horace Vandeberg, with his mother Mrs. John
Vandeberg, drove to Marshfield Tuesday and came back Wednesday. Mrs. V. drove
the horse back and Horace led two colts he bought of his brother Alvin.
Melvin Lawrence of Marshfield spent the past week here with old friends.
Mr. E.H. Lindsley of Milbank, S.D., came last Wednesday and visited until Monday
with his mother and other friends.
Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Hales, Mr. and Mrs.
W.M. Rowe, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rowe, Mr. and Mrs. E.G. Rowe, Mrs. Jennie
Fulwiler and Melvin Lawrence spent last Friday evening at Abe Turner's.
Abie Turner and crew are finishing the inside work on the new schoolhouse in
District No. 1.
Mrs. R. Zickert did shopping at Neillsville alst
Saturday.
E.G. Rowe was working for his brother Forest Monday.
Hattie Turner and son Grant drove to Granton Monday and brought home a load of
lumber.
George Mortimer made a flying trip to Granton Monday afternoon.
Walter Rowe has bought a new Dodge touring car so he will be ready for some
joy rides next summer.
Mrs. Dan Timerson spent Tuesday and Wednesday
visiting Alvin Timerson at the Marshfield Hospital where he continues a very
sick man.
