Marvin, Esther E. (Marriage - 3 May 1969)
Esther E.
Marvin and Hugh V. Christie, both of Greenwood, were married May 3, at 4 p.m. at
the United Methodist parsonage in Greenwood, with the Rev. Carl Booher
officiating at a double ring ceremony.
The bride was attired in a tan
suit and wore a pink rose corsage. Her maid-of-honor was June Marvin, who wore a
light blue dress and carried a bouquet of white and blue carnations.
Kenneth Marvin was bestman.
A wedding supper was served at Katie’s Dairy
Bar in a room decorated with a white bell and blue and white streamers. The
wedding cake was baked and decorated by Mrs. Robert Susa of Greenwood.
A
reception was held at the American Legion Hall.
Mr. Christie is in the
trucking business.
