Bratz, Walter (28 January 1894 - 18 May 1969)
Funeral services for Walter Bratz, 75, of Stanley, who died Sunday evening at
Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley, were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from Our
Savior’s Lutheran Church there, with the Rev. Carl Peters officiating. Burial
was made in the Stanley Cemetery.
Mr. Bratz was born January 28, 1894, in
Thorp. He farmed in the Town of Worden until a year ago, when he and his wife
moved to Stanley. He served as a member of Clark County board of supervisors for
more than 20 years, and as Worden town chairman for the same period of time.
Mr. Bratz is survived by his wife, Anna; a son, Donald, of Sheboygan; three
daughters, Mrs. Richard (Beatrice) Shiltz of Stanley, Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Huhn
of Milwaukee and Mrs. Frederick (Ruth) Noah of Hawthorn, Calif.; a brother,
Frank Bratz of Thorp; and 13 grandchildren.
