Holicky, Jeanette
(1949)
Facklam-Holicky
Monsignor Robert B. Condon read the
9:00 A. M. Nuptial Mass in St. Mary’s Church, LaCrosse, Wisconsin, June 6, that
united Miss Jeanette Holicky and Edmund Facklam.
The bride’s parents are
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph J. Holicky, of LaCrosse and the groom’s mother is Mrs.
Marion Facklam of Spencer.
Jeanette was presented in marriage by her
father. The bridal gown was of white slipper satin with an extensive train and
her veil was French illusion with lace trim. White roses constituted her
bouquet.
Isabelle Fenhouse, neice [sic] of the groom, as matron of honor,
and Kathleen Holicky, sister of the bride, as bridesmaid, were attired in
identical gowns of pink and green taffeta and wore large picture hats. They
carried colonial bouquets.
Attending Mr. Facklam as best man, was the
bride’s brother, William. Richard Keys, Spencer was the usher.
Mrs. L.
Simmones was the soloist and Mrs. Mutzch was the organist.
After their
wedding dinner and reception the couple left for a northern Wisconsin honeymoon.
The Record joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and
best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
