Gorke-Brecht

Of interest to friends and former neighbors here is the announcement of the marriage on Saturday, June 25, of Miss Margaret Brecht, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brecht route 4, Marshfield, former Spencer residents, and Adolph Gorke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Gorke, Marshfield. They were married at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield with the Very Rev. M. J. Keinhofer officiating.

A noon dinner was served to 100 guests at the Marshfield Armory followed by a reception and dance in the evening.

Both young people are graduates of Marshfield High School and the bride also graduated from Central State Teachers college. She taught the past year at Park Falls and will teach at spencer this coming year.

The Record joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
