Pvt. Martin Domer Laid To Rest
ExService men from here were among
those attending final burial rites at Riplinger July 1 for Pvt. Marvin E. Domer,
23, who was killed in a jeep accident in Italy October 3, 1945. The Rev. August
Quandt officiated and military rites were in charge of the American Legion.
Flowers were carried by Fae and Joan Quandt, Marleen Toltzman, Mrs. Eugene
Prehn, Marilyn Nelson and Juanita Molle. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Domer of Unity, sang
“Home, Sweet Home” and “Just As I Am.” Mrs. Henry Krusel was the accompanist.
Out-of-town persons who came for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Burke
