Edward Nielson Passes Away
Edward Nielson, 39, passed away
Wednesday morning, August 24, at 3 o’clock, the first death in this community
from Polio.
Mr. Nielson was taken to the hospital Sunday where he was
placed in the Polio Isolation Ward. His throat was affected and Tuesday he was
placed in the Iron Lung but all efforts failed to save his life.
Funeral
Services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Methodist Church.
