Frank Schultz Laid To Rest
Funeral services were held Tuesday
afternoon at 2 o’clock for Frank Schultz, 78, who passed away Friday at 5:30 p.
m. at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, where he had been a patient the past
two weeks. Mr. Schultz had been a resident of this community the last 36 years.
Mr. Schultz was born in Germany January 7, 1871, and came to the United
States when he was seven years old. After spending a short time in Watertown he
farmed west of Spencer and in 1912 he came to live in the village.
Surviving Mr. Schultz is a brother, Albert, Marshfield. Another brother, August,
preceded him in death.
The body lay in state at the Swarthout Funeral
Home until 11 a. m. Tuesday when it was taken to the Trinity Lutheran Church to
lie in state until the services. Rev. Randolph Mueller officiated and burial was
in the North Lutheran cemetery.
Pallbearers were Charles Haslow, Wm.
Willner, Walter Johnson, Wm. Schweke, Peter Goeler and G. C. Schulz.
In
charge of the flowers were Mrs. H. A. Kuethe, Mrs. H. R. Hermanson, Mrs. John
Karau and Mrs. Walter Facklam.
