An open house was held at the Thorp Methodist Church annex
for the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Weinberger, on Sunday,
April 11, 1965.
They were married at Thorp April 7, 1915, at the
Methodist Parsonage.
Miss Ruth Burke, now Mrs. Doc Nolecheck, and Mrs.
Earl Alger were the attendants.
They ahve lived in Thorp (Clark Co.,
Wis.) most of their married life.
Three children were born to this union.
They are Mr. William Weinberger, Withee, Wis., Doris (Mrs. Richard Mattes),
Milwaukee, Wis., Beatrice (Mrs. Gordon Thorson), Owen, Wis., two grandchildren,
Kathleen Thorson (Mrs. Jack Jalling), Withee, Wis., David Mattes, Whitewater,
Wis., on great-grandchildren, Scott Jalling, Withee, Wis.
