Karshbaum, Donna (15 MAY 1965)

Miss Donna Karshbaum, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Karshbaum, Durand, became teh bride of Edward Hempleman Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hempleman, Sr., Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) at Holy Rosary Parish, Lima, Wis., on Saturday, May 15th, 1965. Rev. Father Charles Wolf performed the 10:30 a.m. ceremony.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, was seen in a floor length bridal gown of slipper satin with a scoop neckline and long traditional tapered sleeves. Re-embroidered Alencon lace embellish the satin. A crown of lace with pearl peeks held her bouffant veil of sheer illusion and she carried a modified cascade of pink sweetheart roses and pink carnations.

Miss Joanne Karshbaum was her sister's maid of honor, wearing a floor length dress of nylon sheer over taffeta in pink, styled with short cap sleeves. Venice lace complemented the midriff and down the front of the skirt. Bridesmaids were Nancy Hempleman, sister of the groom, and Elizabeth Brantner, wearing dresses identical to the maid of honor's.

Flower girl was Cheryl Heit and ring bearer was Bernard Heit.

Jerome Neisius, a cousin of the groom, was best man, and groomsmen were Roger Karshbaum and Robert Halida. Ushers were Richard Karshbaum, Jr. and Tom Hempleman.

A reception was held at teh Durand Rod and Gun Club.

The new couple will make their home in Thorp.
