Mrs. Clifford
Manier received word that Sam Stong of Oscela, Mo. Passed away Monday, May 24 at
the age of 96. Mr. Stong was a resident of South Worden many years ago.
Spending the weekend with the Alfred Berges were Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Berge and
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bauer of Neenah, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Berge and Mr. and Mrs.
Eugene Kolar and daughters of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Johnson and daughter
of Shakopee, Minn., and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stouffour of Minneapolis.
Mr.
and Mrs. Jim Copenhavor and children of Glenn Ellyn, Ill. and Mr. and Mrs. Joe
emert, Jr. and daughters of Janesville spent the weekend at the George Paap
home.
Dick Brandt is home again following a two week convalescence in the
hospital in Stanley.
