Funeral
services were conducted on Saturday, June 5th for Helen Skrzypek, 56, who passed
away at St. Joseph's Hospital, Chippewa Falls, on Thursday, June 3rd, 1965. Rev.
Edward Masalewicz officiated at the 8:30 a.m. service at St. Hedwig's Chapel and
burial was in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Adam Wiater, Malen
Balicki, Anton Wojt, Malen Konieczny, Leon Marek and Walter Marek.
Helen
Slupski was born March 8, 1909 at Polley (Taylor Co., Wis. She was married to
John Skrzypek, who preceded her in death Jan. 2, 1964.
Surviving are her
mother, Mrs. Verna Slupski, Thorp; two sons, Raymond of Racine, Edward at home;
one daughter (Grace) Mrs. Ed Godden, St. Louis, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. John
Dulek, Franklin Park, Ill.; Mrs. Albin Berdal, San Diego, Calif., and two
grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attending the funeral were from
Chicago, Franklin Park, San Diego, Greenwood, Stanley and Withee.
