McHone, Noreen (19 November 1924 - 30 March 2013)

Noreen McHone, 88, of Neillsville died peacefully March 30, 2013, at her home with her family at her side.

She was born Nov. 19, 1924, to Edward and Lillie Schlinsog in Clark County. She married Clarence McHone April 20, 1949, at Zion Lutheran Parsonage in Granton. Noreen was a homemaker. She enjoyed raising African violets, doing puzzles and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Noreen is survived by her children, Gloria (Cliff) McCoy of Neillsville, Mary (Kerry) Carlson of Granton and Clarence Jr., and friend (Tina) of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Charles (Linda) Brody, Tina (Joe) Galetka, Bobbie (Tim) Struensee, Lisa Meicher (friend Jeff), Chad (Marchell) Brody, David (Crystal) Brody, Shane Nystrum, Linda Holz and Matthew McHone; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Ilene Schlinsog of Kenosha and Alice Schlinsog of Milton; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Noreen was preceded in death by her husband (April 1988), her parents, and two brothers, Claire and Ronald.

Services were held April 4, 2013, at Zion Lutheran Church in Granton, with burial at Windfall Cemetery in Granton.
