Mrs. Robert Stewart attended the wedding
of their niece and cousin, Kathy Jepsen, to Bruce Bartel at the United Methodist
Church in Wisconsin Rapids.
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer J. Johnson of Malta, Ill.,
have been visiting her brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Horn of Greenwood and Mr. and
Mrs. Raymond Horn of Loyal.
Monica Brux, Darlene Fontaine, and Peggy Hium
left Sunday to spend some time in Chicago.
Janet Brux returned Sunday to
Stevens Point, where she is employed.
Mrs. Francis Herrill took her
special education class to Chippewa Falls Monday, where they visited Irvine Park
and had a picnic. Mrs. Philip Seliskar and Mrs. Robert Susa provided the
transportation.
Scott Michael Moseley, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Moseley, was baptized by the Rev. Arvid Myhrwold during the Sunday morning
worship services held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Sponsors were Sandra and
Fred Moseley of Hixton. The sponsors and the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Robert G. Moseley of Hixton, were dinner guests at the Moseley home.
Mrs.
Leona Syth, Mrs. Norman Mayenschein, Mrs. Charles Herrick and Carl Weber
attended the funeral of their uncle, George Weber, at Butternut Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Romang of Athens visited Monday at the home of their aunt,
Mrs. Christ Keiner, and with Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Severson.
Tracy
Hendrickson, two-week-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hendrickson, arrived
at her home Thursday from a hospital in Marshfield, where she had been a patient
since her birth May 15.
Relatives and friends were entertained Thursday
evening at a graduation party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ignatz Koschak,
honoring their daughter, Mary Jo. Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Don
Ternus and son of St. Louis, Mo.
Memorial day guests at the Carl
Turnquist home were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ludwigson and son Walter, of Milwaukee,
Mr. and Mrs. Ingwald Hembre of Madison, Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Meyer of Cameron
and Edward Stiefvater of Adams.
