Miss Lila Louise Drews, daughter of Walter
Drews and the late Mrs. Louise Drews, Colby, exchanged wedding promise with
Everett Jack Revie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Revie, Abbotsford, at nuptial
rites held Saturday, June 13, 1965 at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby. The Rev.
Harold Woodworth officiated.
Attending the bride was her sister Mrs.
Dorothy Sprotte. Best man was the bride's brother, Edwin Drews.
The bride
wore a ballerina length gown of pure silk over taffeta with three-quarter length
sleeves, a scoop neck and full skirt, with a bow in the back and an apron in
front with applique flowers and seed pearls. She wore a crown of cabbage roses
and pearls with an illusion veil, and carried a bouquet of dark pink roses and
stephanotis.
Mrs. Sprotte wore a blue street length dress of silk over
taffeta with elbow length sleeves and a scoop neck, and a full skirt with bow in
the back. She carried a bouquet of daisies.
Music during the ceremony was
provided by Mrs. L. Priem, organist, who played "Song of Ruth."
The new
Mrs. Revie is a nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, and the groom
works as a heavy equipment operator. They will be making their home in
Milwaukee. A winter wedding trip to Mexico is planned.
