Wm. Eggebrecht met with a severe injury last
Sunday morning while leading his horses to water.
The horses were
jumping and frisking at one end of the halter while William was walking along,
sedately, at the other end. One of the horses kicked, striking Will a square
blow on the chin, with a well shod hoof.
The blow broke or splintered
the lower jaw and knocked out several teeth, one of the shoe calks cutting
completely through the under lip.
The blow was a bad one and will
necessitate the purchase f a few patent store teeth. We hope to Will up and
about again in a short time.
