Miss June Jasinksi was feted at a bridal shower at the Melvin Charlson home in Eau Claire, Saturday evening, June 27th.

Mrs. Nellie Opachen and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Manuel and son spent the 4th of July weekend at Mrs. Opachen’s farm home. The above reside in Chicago and LaGrange, Ill.

Mr. Norbert Lucas and friend, Mike Salustro of Chicago, arrived last Friday and visited with the Frank Grabaski’s before returning to their home on Sunday with Mrs. Lucas and five children who have been visiting with the Grabaski’s for the past two weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Strizik of Holcombe are the parents of a son born June 30th. Mrs. Strizik is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louie Stakosa.

Mr. Marion Sciezor spent June 29th at Nelson Flowage with a good catch of Blue Gills, Walleyes and Bass.
