Deutschandler, Cheryl (30 MAY 1950 – 26 JUN 1964)
Cheryl Lynn Deutschlander, daughter of Henry and Mary Deutschlander of Thorp
was born May 30th, 1950 and killed in an auto accident Friday, June 26th, 1964.
Cheryl attended the Jaeger School all eight years of her schooling. She recently
with her classmates graduated from the 8th grade. Cheryl was the youngest of the
Henry Deutschlander’s – and the only child left with them on the farm home.
She leaves to mourn besides her parents, 3 brothers, Leslie and Roger of
Thorp, Johnny of Cicero, Ill., and two sisters, Mrs. (Carol) Walter Symbal Jr.
of Thorp and Jacqueline of Chicago, Ill. A sister Marianne preceded her in death
when she was killed in an auto accident 11 years ago at the age of 4-1/2.
Her Maternal Grandmother Mrs. Eva (Figura) Tiberi of Chicago, Ill. and her
paternal Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. John Deutschlander of Thorp.
Funeral
Services were held in Thorp Monday at 2 p.m. at St. Pauls Lutheran Church. The
Rev. R.O. Olson officiating. Burial was at the Thorp East Cemetery. Pallbearers
were 6 boys from her 8th grade graduating class: Randy Berdal, Malen Juzwiak
Jr., John Rycerz, Edwin Smoczyk, Kenneth Sliwka, and Frank W*****.
