Marriage vows were
solemnized at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Abbotsford, Saturday, June 27,
1964, when David Klinkhammer took Miss Diane Jean Dreher as his bride. They are
both of Eau Claire. The double ring ceremony and the nuptial high mass were
conducted by Rev. Raymond B. Schulz at 11 o'clock.
Parents of the bridal
couple are Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Klinkhammer of Van Wert, Ohio, formerly of
Abbotsford, and Mr. and Mrs. O'Neill of Alexandria, Va.
Attending the
bridal couple were his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. John D. Lindberg
of Abbotsford.
For her wedding the bride was attired in a street length
long sleeved lace dress, with which she wore a lace mantilla. She carried a
crescent bouquet of yellow roses and white daisies.
Her matron of honor
wore a two piece yellow and white ensemble with white accessories and carried a
bouquet of white daisies.
After the ceremony, a wedding dinner was served
for th bridal party at the Holiday Inn at Wausau.
Mr. and Mrs.
Klinkhammer are making their home at Eau Claire where tehy will resume their
studies at the Wis. State College in the fall. Mr. Klinkhammer is a graduate of
the Abbotsford High School and is majoring in medical technology.
