Miss Aneida Marie Deutschlander and William Allen Krause were
united in Holy Matrimony on Wednesday, May 20, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
The Rev. R.W. Olson led the evening ceremony, basing his wedding address on a
Scripture passage taken from the Book of Joshua, “As for me and my house, we
will serve the Lord.”
Parents of the couple are Mrs. and Mrs. Emil
Deutschlander, Thorp, Wisconsin, and Mr. William E. Krause, and the late Adelyn
Krause, Owen, Wisconsin.
For her wedding, the bride chose a luxurious
floor length gown of imported silk organza. A bateau neckline and full bell
sleeves accented the fitted bodice, highlighted by a lace-trimmed midriff. A
floating panel secured at the neckline cascaded into the chapel train. A shallow
pillbox, lace-trimmed, held her bouffant veil of illusion.
Mrs. David
Barnes, Matron of Honor, and Miss Judy Rice, Junior Bridesmaid, wore matching
floor length dresses of Azure Blue Shantastik. Bateau necklines and elbow length
sleeves accented the fitted bodices. The controlled bell skirts were highlighted
by beaded lace trim at the waistline and a small bow at the back. Twin roses in
harmonizing colors held their bustle veils. Miss Gigi Winger served as flower
girl.
Mr. David Barnes was the best man. Mr. Jerry Kudingo and Mr. David
Schauer ushered.
Mrs. William Boardman and Mrs. Hubert Schauer served as
organist and soloist respectively.
The reception for numerous relatives
and guests was held in the parlors of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
The
couple is making their home at Riverside, California, where the groom is serving
with the United States Air Force at March Air Force Base.
