Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Benson and daughter Janet of Drummond and Mr. and Mrs.
August Schutz and daughter Ruth of Boyceville were visitors at the Ed Karlen
home on Sunday.
Miss Crystal Dahl, who enlisted in the Women’s Army
Corp., is located at Fort McClellan, Ala., where she will undergo her training.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson, Sr. were Sunday dinner and supper guests at
the George Anderson home, it being David’s birthday.
Bernard Haase,
Balzer CaPaul and R. Kingery are hunting in Wyoming.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom
Polnaszek of Thorp were visitors at the home of Mrs. A. Pozdell on Sunday.
Mr. & Mrs. Nick Voytovich and daughter spent the weekend at the Ed Karlen
home.
Mrs. George Anderson entertained the Mara Circle at her home
Wednesday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilton Karlen and family of Longwood
spent Friday evening at the Ed Karlen home.
Mrs. H. May accompanied Mr.
and Mrs. C.A. Mills of Chippewa Falls and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Soeller to Winter
on Wednesday.
Paul Haase accompanied Mr. and Mrs. E. Vanden Houvel to
Clayton on Sunday, where they attended the Golden Wedding anniversary of Mr. and
Mrs. John. Peetz.
