Pleasant Ridge (10 July 1969)
Pvt. Tom Short called his parents Tuesday evening to tell them he is
completing basic training this week at Ft. Lewis, Wash., and will be sent to Ft.
Sill, Okla., for the training in field artillery.
Mr. and Mrs. Allen
Larson and family of Janesville spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Ed LeZotte. Sunday visitors in the Lezotte home were: Mr. and Mrs. Dick Oldham
and family, Myrtie Davis and son Warren, of Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Holnbach
of Rudolph and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Holnbach of Loyal.
Cmdr. Lee A Counsell
of Great Lakes, Ill., spent Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarion
Counsell.
