Beeckler, George ( 2 Painful Accidents - DEC
1917)
Geo. Beeckler of the town of Levis (Clark Co., Wis.), oldest son of
Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Beeckler of this place, is since Sunday, confined to his home
as the result of a runaway experienced at Hutchings Corners that morning when an
auto truck came up beside the team. George was driving, and the auto driver
honking his horn so frightened George's team that they ran away and in the
fracas tipped the wagon over onto George and severely injuring him. Only a few
days before this, George, in preparing firewood had had a stick fly up and hit
him, and breaking his nose. All of which comes as unwelcome news to his many old
friends here.
