T.F. Lee went to Loyal and delivered a bull calf he has sold
there.
Miss Clara Wilke is boarding with Mrs. L.N. Jensen that she might
be nearer the schoolhouse in this cold weather.
Mrs. Ara Lee and Mrs.
Ernest Yankee went to Marshfield last Friday to visit Mrs. Otto Yordi, a patient
at the hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Nickel and daughter Elinor are on a 3
week visit at La Valle.
Grant Johnson bought a cow of L.N. Jensen last
week.
Bessie Gardner is styaing with Mrs. T.F. Lee.
The Knitting
Club met with Mrs. L.N. Jensen last week Thursday and they are invited to meet
with Mrs. Fred Hankey next, on the 20th.
Miss Wilke will give a Christmas
program and box social at the schoolhouse Thursday evening the 20th.
Laona Downer is a patient at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield since Sunday
night, when her parents Mrs. and Mrs. Joe Downer took her there by auto. She is
at this writing, recovering nicely. During the absence of her parents on this
trip, their home took fire through the chimney's burning out. Prompt assistance
by Neighbors extinguished the flames before great damage was done.
