Mrs. W.J. Davis entertained the Social Club Thursday.
Mabel Dorst visited
Lila Davis from Friday until Sunday.
The W.W. club met at the W.J.
McClaflin home for their usual good time on Thursday evening. The time was spent
very pleasantly in guessing riddles. Mr. Fred Frank won the prize in guessing
the number of raisins on a cake, while Mr. C. Hayden carried off the booby
prize.
Miss Sara Davis returned from her Milwaukee and Sheboygan county
visit on Saturday. She was accompanied home by her aunt, Mrs. S. Arthur and
daughter Evelyn.
Elsie Dorst is spending the week with Mrs. Homer Spry at
Granton.
Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Montgomery and daughter Lela and son Allen
spent Monday at the A.W. Phipps home.
Mrs. Alice Hatch visited with Mrs.
W.J. Davis a few days last week.
Mrs. Jesse Rowe and sons Lavern and
Beuford visited with Mrs. Will Rowe at York Center Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs.
M. Dorst and son Leonard spent a few hours in Neillsville Tuesday afternoon.
Rhoda Davis returned to school again after a month's absence on account of
ill health.
Mrs. H.J. Pietenpol spent Thursday visiting her daughter Mrs.
Arthur Berg.
