Duellman, Bonnie Lou (Marriage -
1969)
Miss Bonnie Lou Duellman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Duellman
of Dorchester and Neal Franklin Block, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Block of Rt.
1, Dorchester, were married Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in a double-ring ceremony
before 200 guests in St. Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester. The Rev. Gerald
officiated.
The bride given in marriage by her father wore a traditional
bridal gown of all-rose point lace-over-taffeta, styled with a molded bodice and
featuring g a scalloped neckline and long sleeves tapering at the wrists. The
bouffant skirt, softly shirred at the natural waistline, was divided over wide
tiers of lace with scalloped borders. The detachable Watteau train extended from
the shoulders into a full, circular chapel sweep, outlined with scalloped border
lace, and trimmed with the same. The bouffant veil of imported silk illusion was
secured to a dainty pearl and crystal crown. Her flowers were a combination of
hot pink roses, lily-of-the-valley, white carnations and three white orchids.
Mrs. Lee (Nancy) Noland of Medford, sister of the groom, was
matron-of-honor. Mrs. Russel (Barb) Block, of Wausau, sister-in-law of the
groom, was bridesmaid. Both wore candy pink floor-length, empire-styled gowns
with rounded neckline on chiffon coat-styled tops that featured long, puffed
sleeves. Their matching headpieces were trimmed in pearls from which fell a
short bouffant veil. Hot pink roses, white carnations and lily-of-the-valley
formed their bouquets.
Lee Noland of Medford, brother-in-law of the
groom, served as bestman and Daniel Duellman of Dorchester, brother of the
bride, was groomsman. Bill Weldon of Stetsonville and Russel Block of Wausau
were ushers.
The Sebold sisters of Dorchester sang accompanied at the
organ by Karen Sebold.
A wedding reception was held at Dorchester
Memorial Hall followed by a dance with 200 guests attending. Pink and white
streamers decorated the tables.
After a trip to Wisconsin Dells, they are
residing in Dorchester.
Mrs. Block attended Dor-Abby High School,
Abbotsford, and has been employed in Marshfield. Mr. Block attended Dorchester
High School and is employed with a pipeline construction company.
