Shupe, Lee (abt 1891-05 Mar 1964)
Funeral services were held Thursday March 5, at 10 a.m. for Lee Shupe, 73,
from St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with The Rev. Norbert E. King officiating.
The Myre Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
The pallbearers were
William Beaver, Chris Bentzler, Geroge Bentzler, George Fisher, Eugene Wehe, and
Reinhold Weiss.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs.
Richard (Evelyn) Syth, Loyal; Mrs. Leo (Mary) Prime, Greenwood; four sons,
Edward, Donald, Jerome, all of Loyal, and Lawrence of Cheyenne, Wyoming. Also
two brothers, Glen, Spencer; and John, of Berlin; seven sisters, Mrs. Vernard
(Elva) Kauffman, Loyal; Mrs. Jesse (Vivian) Raab, Loyal; Mrs. Hasting (Ione)
Baird, Greenwood; Mrs. Jack (Helena) Fahey, Stanley; Mrs. Lawrence (Nettie)
Davel. Loyal; Mrs. Charles (Mabel) Barr, Neillsville; Mrs. Willard (Elsie)
Ziemendorf, Wisconsin Rapids, He is also survived by 17 grandchildren. An infant
daughter preceded him in death.
Burial was made in the parish cemetery.
