Miss Patricia Ann Erickson, Colby, became the bride of Gerald Ronald Freeck, Medford, at a nuptial mass at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Abbotsford, Saturday, July 18, 1964. The Rev. Raymond Schulz read the marriage ceremony as Mrs. Dan Decker presided at the organ and the church choir sang.

Parents of the young couple are Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Erickson, rural Colby, and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Freeck, rural Medford.

The bride wore a floor length gown with a lace insertion forming the jewel trimmed scalloped Sabrina neckline on the fitted bodice of silk organza. The full hoop skirt of organza over taffeta was accented by lace appliques in the front, the back being completed by a detachable lace train. Her French illusion fingertip veil was secured to a crown of pearl and aurora borealis crystal. She carried a crescent shaped bouquet of red roses and a white orchid centered with stephanotis and white streamers extending down the front.

Miss Patricia bunger, Milwaukee, was the maid of honor, and Mrs. Donald Freeck of Marshfield, and Miss Jan Borchardt, Owen, were the bridesmaids. Miss Susan Zobrak, Abbotsford, was the junior bridesmaid, and Denise Lynch, Medford, was the miniature bride.

The bride's attendants wore powder blue ballerina length sheath dresses of organza with round necklines and elbow length sleeves with fully gathered overskirts of lace with a bow trim at the waistline. They wore matching floral cap headpieces with pearl trim and face veils. The maid of honor carried a crescent shaped bouquet of white carnations with blue streamers and the bridesmaids carried crescent shaped bouquets of tinted blue carnations and white carnations with white streamers.

Ushering duties were carried out by Peter Kapfer and Marvin Kuenne.

Mrs. Louis Haas, Beloit, attended her grandson's wedding attired in a green dress with white accessories complemented with a corsage of pink garnet roses and white mums.

Mrs. Erickson was present in a dress of blue lace with white accessories and wore a corsage of all white button mums with velvet leaves and silver ribbons. Mrs. Freeck was attired in a pink lace applique dress with white accessories and her corsage was also of white button mums with velvet leaves and silver ribbons.

Breakfast for the bridal party and immediate family was served at teh home of the bride's parents, and the reception was also held there. A wedding dance was held at Sportsmen's Park, Colby.

The bride attended Abbotsford High School and was employed at Bergstrom auto Co., Inc., Owen, and the groom attended Medford High School and is employed by Beseler Steel Products.

After a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin the young couple will be at home at 614-A South Vine, Marshfield.

Guests from Milwaukee, Beloit, Rockford, Ill., Marshfield, Medford, Owen, Colby, Unity, Rib Lake, Edgar, Auburndale and Abbotsford attended the wedding.
