Lang, Shirley A. (25 JUL 1964)

Miss Shirley A. Lang, Abbotsford, and Dale R. Majerus of Colby repeated their marriage promise Saturday Morning, July 25, 1964, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Abbotsford, with the Rev. Raymond B. Schulz officiating.

Mrs. Al Gabriel of Colby provided organ music before the ceremony and Mrs. Dan Decker accompanied the church choir for the 10 o'clock nuptial high mass.

Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. David Motelet of Abbotsford and Mr. and Mrs. Gregor Majerus of Colby.

For her wedding the bride was attired in a floor length gown of peau taffeta with a bateau neckline on the molded bodice. Jewel trimmed embroidery appliques started at the neckline and continued down the front of the full hoop skirt. A crown of pearls and crystals held her fingertip veil. She carried a cascade bouquet of red sweetheart roses surrounding a white orchid.

Attending the bride were her sister, Mrs. Milton Ramminger of Dorchester, as matron of honor, and her step-sister, Miss Helen Motelet of Abbotsford, as bridesmaid.

They wore street length formals of pale pink nylon sheer with fitted bodices and rounded necklines. The full gathered skirts were detailed with embroidery and ribbon insertion and accented by a back bow trim. They wore matching floral heapdpieces with seed pearl trim and face veils and had white elbow length gloves and white shoes. Pink and white carnations were combined in a cascade arrangement for their bouquets.

Milton Ramminger was the best man, and Leo Apfelbeck of Colby, a friend of the groom, was groomsman.

After the ceremony dinner was served at the church hall. The new Mr. and Mrs. Majerus held a reception in the afternoon at the Abbotsford village hall and a dance in the evening at Memorial Hall, Dorchester.

On their return from a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin they will live in Colby. The groom is employed at Rolohome at Marshfield, and the bride is employed at American Packaging Corp. at Colby.

Guests at the wedding came from Milwaukee, Tomahawk, Stetsonville, Stevens Point, Dorchester, Curtiss, Abbotsford, Marshfield, Colby, Merrill, Medford, Unity, Auburndale and Chicago.
