Dunlap, Sharon Kay (Marriage - 23 September 1967)
The Assembly of God
Church in Neillsville was the setting Saturday for a double ring ceremony that
united in marriage Miss Sharon Kay Dunlap, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James F.
Dunlap of Rt. 2 Neillsville, and Duane C. Arndt, son of Mr. and Mrs. William C.
Arndt of Rt. 2 Neillsville. The Rev. D. Eugene Sprague officiated.
For
her wedding the bride chose a floor-length gown of satin, enhanced with a long
satin train scattered with lace. The Empire-styled bodice of lace was fashioned
with a bow at the waistline. A fingertip veil cascaded from her crown headpiece.
Her bridal bouquet was made of red roses.
Miss Deborah Dunlap was
maid-of-honor. Bridesmaid was Miss Susan Wedekind. The attendants appeared in
blue brocade-topped dresses that had silver threads entwined. They blue crepe
skirts were topped with a brocade bow at the back waistline. The back of the
dresses were further enhance with brocade trains. Each carried an arrangement of
white roses.
George Arndt of Menasha was bestman. Groomsman was Roger
Beyer of Wisconsin Rapids. Barry Dunlap and Allen Mohr were ushers.
Mr.
and Mrs. Arndt will reside in Stevens Point, where the groom, a 1967 graduate of
Wisconsin State University-Stevens Point, works in a bakery and is attending the
university as a graduate student.

Oshkosh; Mr. and Mrs. Dale Burlingame and Jill of Merrillan; Mr. and Mrs. Louis
Aldinger of Green Bay; Mrs. Harold Aldinger of Merrillan; Mrs. Kenneth Grabe of
Menasha; Mr. and Mrs. Vince Gorst and family of Granton; Mrs. Merrill Johnstone
and Carla of Aurora, Ill.; Mrs. George Ardt of Menasha; and Judy Jones of
Chicago, Ill.
