Langteau, Bonita M. (8 AUG 1964)

The Rev. John Pinion officiated at the wedding ceremony during which Miss Bonita Marie Langteau and Fay Ramond Yost were united in marriage Saturday, Aug. 8, 1964, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby, at 11 o'clock. The children's choir sang the nuptial mass.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Langteau of Colby and Mr. and Mrs. Morrell Yost of Mauston are the parents of the bridal couple.

Miss Mary Datta of Menomonie and Joseph Schmocker of Mauston were the honor attendants. The bridesmaids were Miss DeAnna Konkel of Hatley, Miss Jeannie Scidmore of Colby and Miss Kathleen Boxrucker of Colby, and the groomsmen were Francis Lunenschloss and John Yost of Mauston, and Francis Gordon of Prairie du Chien.

For her wedding the bride designed her own dress of white peau de soie which was made by Mrs. Joseph Fuella. The full length sheath dress had a fitted bodice with long tapered sleeves and a scalloped neckline. The buttoned back was accented by a cabbage rose at the waistline, to which a full redingote style chapel length train was pleated. Re-embroidered Alencon lace trimmed the gown and train. Her bouffant veil of Illusion was attached to a cabbage rose headdress. She carried a cascade arrangement of white roses.

Her attendants wore white floor length formals of acetate peau with rounded necklines on the fitted bodices. The sheath skirts had a bow trim at the front of the waistline and were completed by Watteau panels in the back. A touch of red was introduced in their velveteen bow headdresses and their cascade bouquets of red and white carnations and red velveteen streamers in a cascade arrangement.

Mrs. Lanteau selected a light blue linen-like sheath dress with a matching jacket for her daughter's wedding. Mrs. Yost wore a blue silk shantung sheath dress. Both mothers wore white accessories and white carnations corsages.

Festivities of the wedding day included brunch at St. Mary's gym following the ceremony, a reception from 2:30 to 4:30 o'clock at the city hall, and supper at 4:30 o'clock at..(some of my article was cut off)

After a wedding trip to southern Wisconsin, the newlyweds will make their home in Medford, where the groom is a mathematics teacher on the faculty of the high school.
