Ziegler, Margaret (Marriage
- 19 July 1969)
Miss Margaret Ziegler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil
Ziegler of Chili, and Verland J. Schofield, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Kippenhan
of Greenwood, were united in marriage, at 2 p.m. Saturdays at St. Stephen’s
Catholic Church in Chili. The Rev. Bernard Duffy officiated at the double-ring
ceremony.
The bride’s empire-style gown was of white taffeta with a
Venetian lace cage and train. Her shoulder-length veil was attached to a
pearl-trimmed butterfly headpiece. She carried a fan-style bouquet of red roses
and white stephanotis.
Mrs. Danny Drew of West Allis was made-of-honor.
Miss Judy Ziegler and Miss Ann Ziegler were bridesmaids. All wore full-length,
sleeveless gowns of yellow more with daisy trim. They carried white lace doily
bouquets of yellow roses, and each wore yellow roses in her hair.
Danny
Drew of West Allis was bestman. Gerald Schofield of West Allis and Glenn
Schofield of Menomonee Falls were groomsmen. Serving as ushers were Eugene
Bruggemann of Marshfield and Jimmy Schofield of Menomonee Falls.
The Rev.
Eugene Berthiaume, formerly of St. Stephen’s parish, provided nuptial organ
music.
Following the ceremony a reception and dinner were held in the
church basement. A dance and shower were held in the evening at Anderson’s Hall.
The newlyweds plan to take a wedding trip later. After August 1, their
address will be 9129 W. National Ave West Allis.
