Doman Kostick Jr., 77, Lublin, died on Wednesday, April 24 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 2 at 2 p.m. at Thorp Funeral Home in Thorp, with Pastor John Sindler officiating.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the time of service.

Doman Kostick Jr. was born on May 20, 1935 on the family farm in the Town of Roosevelt to the late Doman and Anna (Wienslaw) Kostick Sr. He attended area schools.

On July 20, 1963 at St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church in Lublin, he married Annette Szemraj, who survives. He owned and operated a dairy farm and also hauled milk for Bellinger Dairy, and later worked for Raber Foods in Thorp until his retirement.

He was a member of the Town of Roosevelt Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, especially for cat fish, and deer hunting.

In addition to his wife, survivors include two children, Faye (Ken) Ryszkiewicz of Eau Claire and Wayne (Marcia) of Lublin; two sisters, Irene Milas of Thorp and Helen Zajac of Hamilton, Mont.; three grandchildren, Monica, Clayton and Jacob; one great-grandchild on the way; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Walter Milas and Edward Zajac.
