Santo, Ida
Allard (30 May 1855 – 15 Jun 1906)
Died on June 15, Mrs. Napoleon Santo
aged 51 years. Mrs. Santo, whose maiden name was Miss Ida Allard, was born at
Green Bay, Wis., May 30, 1855. She came to Fairchild in 1893 and was married
Nov. 28, of the same year.
She had been ailing for some three months and
on June 10, was taken to St. Joseph’s hospital at Eau Claire where she was
operated upon for both cancer and tumor. She was unable to rally from the shock
and died three days later. The funeral occurred on Monday. Interment was made at
St Joseph’s cemetery.
The death of Mrs. Santo is particularly sad as she
leaves a family of four children, Carrie and Clara, twins 11 years, Raymond, ten
and Pearl, seven years of age, who will sadly miss her loving care. Her husband
also survives her.
We desire to thank our friends for the sympathy and
help extended to us at the death and burial of our wife and mother. – Napoleon
Santo and Family.
