Gloria Jean
Korth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert E. Korth of Rt. 1 Fort Atkinson, and
formerly of Neillsville, and Brian Borchardt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis C.
Borchardt of Rt. 3 Fort Atkinson, were married at a double-ring candlelight
ceremony June 17, at the Willerup Methodist Church, with the Rev. Peter Garcia
and the Rev. Harold Powell officiating.
Patty Haller was soloist,
accompanied at the organ by Linda Zastrow.
Linda Korth of Fort Atkinson
served her sister as maid-of-honor. Bonnie Bartholomew of Greenville, Ill., and
Diane Korth of Fort Atkinson, cousin of the bride were bridesmaids. Cousin of
the groom, Kris Fink of Rt. 3 Fort Atkinson, was flowergirl and Timmy Foemmel of
Chili, cousin of the bride, was ringbearer.
The groom’s brother, Wayne
Borchardt of Fort Atkinson, was bestman. Dennis Refvrik and Milton and Bill
Creech of West Virginia wee groomsmen. Ushers were Darrel Korth of Fort
Atkinson, cousin of the bride, and David Ebbert of Fort Atkinson.
Mrs.
Borchardt is a 1969 Greenville, Ill., college graduate and taught second grade
at the Milton School. Mr. Borchardt, a Fort Atkinson graduate, has just
completed a year’s tour of Vietnam. They are living at Huachuca City, Ariz.,
where she will teach this fall and he will finish his term in service.
