Brock, Judy (Marriage
- 16 August 1969)
Miss Judy Brock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Brock
of Rt. 2 Stratford, and Allen E. Sternitzky, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin
Sternitzky of Rt. 1 Granton, were married Saturday at 1 p.m. in St. Joseph’s
Catholic Church in Stratford. The Rev. Fr. Eron officiated at the double-ring
ceremony. Pink and white Gladioli decorated the church.
The bride was
given in marriage by her father. She chose a floor-length sleeveless, A-line
empire gown, styled with a Chantilly lace overcoat that swept into a chapel
train. Her veil fell from a crown of crystals. She carried an arm bouquet of
long-stemmed pink roses.
Miss Janice Brock of Wausau was maid-of-honor.
Bridesmaids were Miss Carol Gloff, Mrs. Ann Marie Schlinsog, both of Marshfield,
Mrs. Sarah Elmhurst of Granton, and Mrs. Mary Freimund of Schofield. They wore
floor-length, empire-styled A-line gowns of aqua chiffon with lace bodices. They
carried arm bouquets of pink and white gladioli.
Guy Sternitzky of
Granton was bestman. Ron Nelson of Rhinelander, Marvin Schlinsog of Marshfield,
Victor Elmhorst of Granton and Robert Freimund of Schofield were groomsmen.
Serving as ushers were Ken Brock and Ernest Sternitzky.
Music was
furnished by the men’s choir.
A wedding reception was held at Fabey’s
Hall in Rozeville.
After a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin, they will
reside at 915 N. Central Ave. Marshfield.
The bride is a graduate of
Stratford High School and University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She will teach
at St. John’s Catholic School in Marshfield this fall. Mr. Sternitzky is a
Granton High School graduate and is employed in Marshfield.
