Pleasant Ridge (28

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Butterfield of Waukesha spent the weekend
with her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Short. Their daughter, Donna who
had been visiting her aunt and uncle for two weeks, returned home with them.
Judith Howard of Moose Lake spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Vern G. Howard. She came to attend the wedding of Joan Walter to James Pietrzak
in Neillsville, Saturday. Sunday they drove to Park Falls and stayed overnight
at Mrs. Howard’s sister’s cabin. Judith returned to Moose Lake Monday morning
and Mr. and Mrs. Howard went on to visit relatives in Ashland, Washburn,
Bayfield and Marengo.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Osborn and children, Ann and
James of Carbondale, Ill. were to leave this (Thursday) morning after spending
10 days at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarion Counsell. Another
daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Pagenkopf, and son Gary, of
Platteville, and the Counsell’s son, Comdr. Lee Counsell of Great Lakes, Ill.,
spent the weekend with them.
