Frank Krosinski
got a piece of steel in his eye and is in the hospital in Marshfield, where they
operated on the eye.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Losey of Fairchild, Mr. and
Mrs. Mel Markham, Harriette Gorst, Archie Kirby and Mrs. Raymond Stuve were in
Tomah Sunday morning to help bring cheer to the veterans in the hospital.
Mrs. Archie Kirby is not very well and is under a doctor’s care.
Wendy Galster and her sister, Mary Ann, and husband of Janesville visited Sunday
at the home of Mrs. Huldah Winscher.
Callers at the Fred Barr home Sunday
evening were Mr. and Mrs. Cullen Dignin and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Landers of Chippewa
Falls.
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Miller of Platteville called at the W. F. Hein
home and spent three days at the Hein cottage last week.
Mr. and Mrs.
William Raymond and family of Deerfield spent Sunday at the Al Raymond home.
Mr. and Mrs. John Greub called Sunday evening at the Chester Bailey home.
Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Matti and Mrs. Laura Baumgartner called Sunday evening
at the Ellis Williams and Fred Rupnow homes.
Raymond Woodford of
Milwaukee spent several days last week visiting at the Jake Lightfoot home.
Wednesday, Mr. and Mrs. Lightfoot and brother, Raymond, visited in Trempealeau.
Worthing Barr of Colby spent Sunday at the Fred Barr home.
Mr. and
Mrs. Ed Lanners of Chippewa Falls visited Sunday evening at the home of Mrs.
Huldah Winscher.
Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Aeschbacher visited Mrs. Emma Gerber
Tuesday evening.
Miss Rozella Brandstedter of Minneapolis spent a couple
of days last week at the home of her uncle, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Hein.
Mrs.
Emma O’Leary is quite ill with a bad case of bursitis and under a doctor’s care.
Fred Krosinski of Milwaukee was an overnight guest Thursday at the Chester
Bailey home.
