Chili (4 September 1969)

Forest Foemmel and daughter, Debra jean, celebrated their birthday at their home, Thursday evening, August 28. Guests were Debra Jean’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. August Foemmel of Chili and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Venzke of Lindsey.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hughes of Ventura, Cal., visited last week with their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Tysver and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Leon Gustafson and daughter, Lisa, moved September 1, from Marshfield into the Selk residence in Chili. Mr. Gustafson is a manager for Lynn Dairy.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sanger of Redfield, S. D., were weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Tysver and family. They were here to attend the golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Garbisch.

Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Schultz of Greendale and Mrs. Edna Spuhler of Marshfield visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Montag, Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. James Hildebrandt and family of Menasha spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Steffen at Chili.

Mrs. Anna Montag is visiting for a few weeks with relatives in Edgerton.
