Mr. and Mrs. Dan Thrall and Miss
Rosemary Hare were weekend guess at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Merril Hare.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart and Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Stewart
spent Monday in Westfield at the Ame Krueger home and with Mr. and Mrs. George
Osterhaus of Plainfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Erling Ellingson and family of
Elmhurst, Ill., and his mother, Mrs. Louise Ellingson, spent Saturday with Mrs.
Alfred Van Tassel and family in Watertown, Minn.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Warner
visited in Chetek Sunday at the home of their son, Harold, and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Mike Kowieski and granddaughter, Kathy Kowieski, of Auburndale were
guests Sunday at the Harlan Brux home.
Guests Sunday at the home of Mrs.
Jake Speich were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Speich of Eau Claire.
Mr. and Mrs.
Arleigh Olson and family of Blanchardville were dinner guests Sunday at the
Lloyd Peterson home.
Mrs. Leslie Knudson of Viroqua spent Saturday and
Sunday at the Truman Hill home. Other weekend guests wee Mrs. Rolland Hill and
daughters, Marla and Nona of Madison.
Miss Trudy Hill, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Truman Hill of Greenwood, left Friday for White Bear lake, Minn., where
she teaches.
Ole Sather of Milwaukee spent from Thursday until Saturday
at the Lloyd Peterson home.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Vine and Mr. and Mrs.
Bernard Vine were guests Sunday and Monday at the Hugh Christie home.
Mrs. Myrtle and Mrs. Leida Kurtzheim arrived Monday from Milwaukee for a visit
at the Hugh Severson home.
Friends honored Miss Ivy Moore at a birthday
party held Tuesday afternoon at the Leon Kuester home.
Guests Sunday at
the Leon Kuester home were their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Catlin and Mr. and
Mrs. William Kuester and daughter, Loretta and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Blakefield of
San Diego, Calif.
Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Straus, Jr., and son of Menomonee
Falls spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Straus, Sr.
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Stewart and family of Amarillo, Tex., and his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart, were dinner guests Thursday at the Robert Stewart
home in Stanley.
Mr. and Mrs. Arleigh Olson and daughter, Kim, of
Blanchardville and Mrs. Chris Torn and daughters, Julie and Joanne, of Los
Angeles, Calif., spent from Friday until Sunday at the home of Mrs. Erna
Wehrman.
Phillip Seliskar was re-admitted Tuesday to the hospital at
Marshfield.
