Ringquist, Anton E. (17 OCT 1895 - 11 AUG 1964)

Funeral services were held August 14 at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, for Anton E. Ringquist, 68, Unity, who died of a cerebral hemorrhage Aug. 11, 1964 at the Clark County Hospital. The Rev. Robert Langseth officiated, and burial was made in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Unity.

During the service, the Trinity Lutheran Church Choir sang "The Old Rugged Cross, accompanied by Mrs. Ansel Messer on the piano.

Anton Ringquist was born in the town of Brighton in 1895, and received his education in the Unity area schools. Her served in the Army for six months during World War I. During most of his life he worked as a carpenter.

He is survived by one son, Benny Lee. California; one daughter, Ardelia, California; and one sister, Mrs. John (Edith) Schjoneman, Unity. He was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kester of Wis. Rapids, Mrs. Raymond Potter, Wis. Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. Harland Powers of Wausau, Erland Westberg, Oregon and other relatives and friends from Spencer, Unity and Colby.

Pallbearers were Victor Anderson, Maurice Anderson, Harold Yost, Anton Schjoneman, Edward Melander, and Ralph Schwake.
