Moberg, Don (22 SEP 1921 - 24 AUG 1964)
Don
Moberg, 42, of Marinette, died unexpectedly, Aug. 24, 1964. He was admitted to
Marinette General Hospital Sunday morning where his death occurred early Monday
morning.
A requiem mass will be read at St. Anthony's Catholic Church,
Marinette, at 10 o'clock Thursday morning, after which the body will be brought
to Abbotsford for interment in the Abbotsford Cemetery.
The body will lie
in state at the Polnaszek Funeral Home, Abbotsford, from 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug.
27, until 10 a.m. Friday, when graveside rites at the cemetery will be conducted
by the Rev. Raymond B. Schulz, pastor of St. Bernard's Catholic Church.
Mr. Moberg was the son of Mrs. H.F. Moberg of Abbotsford and the late H.F.
Moberg, and a son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sebold of Abbotsford.
Don
Moberg was born Sept. 22, 1921, at Marshfield. When he was a year old the family
moved to Abbotsford. He received his educations in the Abbotsford school and was
graduated from the high school in 1939.
His marriage to Joyce Sebold took
place Nov. 14, 1942, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Eau Claire. They lived at
Milwaukee, Wausau and Dorchester before moving to Marinette about 11 years ago,
where he operated a Lennox dealership.
Surviving him are his wife at
Marinette, and six children, Donald, 21, and Dawn, 18, Milwaukee, Sandra, 19,
Larry, 16, Dean, 13, and Pamela, 10, at Marinette.
He also leaves his
mother, Mrs. H.F. Moberg, Abbotsford, and two sisters, Mrs. Irvin (Bernadine)
Jerabeck and Mrs. Robert (Carol) Marcott of West Allis, and two brothers,
Clifford of New Berlin and Lloyd of Schofield.
His father preceded him in
death in 1962; a brother, Harry Jr., in infancy, and a brother, Robert, in 1944.
