Former Resident of Almond Dies of Pneumonia

Henry Bursell of Dorchester, undertaker and cabinetmaker, died at his home in that village Tuesday after an illness of 10 days with pneumonia. He was born in Oasis, February 25, 1868. He lived with his parents in Almond until about seventeen years ago when they moved to Dorchester. He leaves an aged mother, who was too ill to attend the funeral, and a younger brother, Dunn William Bursell, who is in the southwest.

Funeral services were held at the M. E. church at Dorchester Thursday morning, April 7th, and were attended by a large number of the Knights of Maccabees and Modern Woodmen.

The body was brought to this city that afternoon by Robert Bursell, an uncle of the deceased and will be taken to Plainfield on the morning train. From there it will be taken to the M. E. church at Almond, where services will be held by Rev. Decker. The Modern Woodmen of that town will also attend. The body will be laid to rest in the neighboring cemetery.

Mr. Bursell carried an accident policy, which pays a $75 death benefit. He also has $500 in the Maccabees and $1,000 in the Woodmen.
