Parkinson, Oscar (31 MAY 1893 – 17

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. at the Hosper and Kraut Funeral
Home in Owen for Oscar E. Parkinson, 71, Owen, who died last Tuesday afternoon
at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Oscar E. Parkinson was born May
31, 1893 at Cambria, and attended college at Appleton. His marriage to Emaline
Scherf took place Jan. 15, 1919 at Withee. The couple lived in Medford until
1923, when they came to Owen. For the past 38 years, Mr. Parkinson has been
superintendent of the Master Package Corporation in Owen.
He had served
as justice of the peace for over 30 years, and was a member of the Clark County
Board from 1935 to 1953 inclusive, and from 1961 to the time of his death.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Galen Parkinson, Moisinee;
three grandchildren, and a nephew, Charles Heimral, Eau Claire.
