Storm,
Frank (Alarmingly ill - 17 DEC 1917)
Frank Storm was quite indisposed
Sunday, although uncomplaining, and went to school as usual Monday morning and
was taken suddenly and alarmingly ill. A number of his schoolmates rendered
their services and soon had Frank home by auto. A local physician hastily
summoned, diagnosed the case as alarming and Frank, accompanied by his mother
and their physician, made a hurried trip to Marshfield, where, at the hospital
there, an operation was performed that in all probability saved his life, for it
is the opinion of the physician in attendance there, that Frank escaped death
only by a narrow margin. Mrs. Storm came home from the hospital Tuesday noon and
reported him as doing nicely and feeling fine. His sister Frieda spent Wednesday
with him and she too, reports him as doing nicely.
