Irma Brooks is home from Stevens Point Normal for the holidays.

The two Mrs. Greene's were shopping at Marshfield on Monday.

Jim Farning, assistant cashier at the Chili bank, left Tuesday on the 11 o'clock train for Wyoming to take up work for a billing clerk on a train. Glen Snow was appointed in his place.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Selk, a big boy, last week. Chili is some place - three barbers in it.

The young folks met at Mrs. Cora Dow's to string popcorn for the Xmas tree, Tuesday night. The tree will be at the schoolhouse Saturday night with a mother Christmas tree at Chili Church Dec. 25th.

Oscar Bealer is on the sick list at present. All hope he will soon be able to come to school.

Frank Angel is underbrushing and cutting wood for Dan Brooks.

Mrs. Minnie Prust was called to Stratford Friday on account of her grandson getting hurt.

The Royal Neighbors had election of officers last Friday afternoon and the following were elected: Oracle, Mrs. Libbie Phillips; Vice Oracle, Kathryn Lee; Past O., Mira Snow; Chan., Pearl Hill; Recorder, Mattie Waterman; Receiver, Vera Waterman; Marshal, Josie Koser; Inner S., Minnie Prust; Out S., Nettie Green; Manager, Herman Koser; Physician, Dr. H. Housley.

The Woodmen at night elected the following officers:
Counsel - John Davis,
Adviser - Gordon Davis,
Backer - W.R. Happe,
Clerk - Otto Reimer,
Escort - John Hefty,
Watchman - Fred Oens,
Sentry - Roy Breseman,
Manager - Henry Bushon,
Physicians - Dr. Housley and Dr. Rath.
