Harold Lee Parker passed away on May 14, 2013,
with his loving wife, Donna by his side.
He was born May 19, 1912, to
John and Hulda (Larsen) Parker in Owen, where he resided all of his life.
Harold retired from Northern States Power in 1974 after 30 years of service.
In the 1980's, Harold was very much involved in building, from scratch, the NSP
campground by Holcombe, WI, where he and Donna camped for many years.
Harold is survived by his wife, Donna Schluter Parker, Owen. His children,
Virginia (Tom) Miller, Owen; Patricia (George) Bakke, Minneapolis; Jack (Kay)
Parker, Rothschild; Dan (Jada) Parker, Owen; Stepson, Robert Sholes, Medford;
stepdaughter, Sandy (Mike) Sobzack, Sarasota, FL; stepdaughter-in-law, Sue
(Larry) Sholes, Owen. Harold is further survived by eight grandchildren and four
step-grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren,
with many other relatives and friends.
Harold was preceded in death by
his parents; his first wife, Dorothy A. (Ebben) Parker; his sister, Thelma
(Henry) Pueschner and Harold's stepson, Larry Sholes.
A memorial service
will be held at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen at 10 a.m., Saturday,
June 15, 2013.
