Beil, William “Bill” Sr.

William “Bill” Beil, Sr., 83, was born into
eternal life on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at his residence in Abbotsford. A Mass
of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Saint
Bernard’s Catholic Church in Abbotsford. Father Dan Hackel will officiate.
Interment will be in the Abbotsford Public Cemetery with Military Honors. A
time of Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 22, at
Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford and one hour prior to service time
at the church on Thursday.
Bill was born in Abbotsford on September 28,
1929, to Frank and Vera Beil. He attended school here in Abbotsford and
graduated from High School in 1947. Bill then joined the Navy and served in the
Korean War.
He married Regina McMahon on July 29, 1951. Bill worked in
the Post Office in Billerica, Mass., for 13 years, then in the Minneapolis Post
Office and finally returning to Abbotsford in 1964 and worked at Packaging in
Colby until retiring in 1994. He and mom had eight children, Billy, Frank,
Karen, Tom, Theresa, Becky, Marla and Joey. Mom died on December 6, 2011.
Bill is survived by his children, Billy (Ronny), Frank (Heidi), Karen
(Mark), Tom, Theresa (Ken), Becky (Roy) and Marla (Wayne); grandchildren,
Brandon, Theresa, Billy, Bethany, Derrick, Mathew, Alex, Jaden, Chelsea, Drayton
and Lilly. He is further survived by his brother, Ben.
He was preceded in
death by his parents; his wife, Regina; his son, Joseph, in infancy; and his
sisters, Patsy and Genevieve.
Bill was a life-long Packer fan and
Milwaukee Braves, and then Brewers fan.
