Christ Lutheran Church at Abbotsford was the setting Saturday, Nov. 14, 1964, at 2 p.m. when George G. Mueller claimed JoAnn R. Wittkamp as his bride. The Rev. F.H. Sprengler officiated at the ceremony at which Hebert Juneau was the organist and soloist at the church which was decorated with yellow and white pompons and pink and white gladiolas.

Parents of the couple and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wittkamp and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Mueller, all of Abbotsford.

The bride was attired in her mother's wedding gown, which was made of ivory satin featuring a fitted bodice with a net yoke, and a flowing skirt ending in a long train. Chantilly lace trimmed the dress and the veil which was also worn by her mother on her wedding day. The veil was held by a crown of seed pearls. She wore a diamond lavaliere which was given to her by her mother, who had received it on her wedding day from her mother. Her flowers were a bouquet of white roses and pink carnations.

Attendants were Mary Wittkamp, sister of the bride, Sharleen Mueller, sister of the groom, Kenneth Wilhelmi, friend of the groom, and Robert Wittkamp, brother of the bride, all of Abbotsford.

The bride's attendants bother wore long gowns featuring pink brocade bodices and pink satin skirts with which they wore matching accessories. Their bouquets were made with white and pink carnations.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at 3 p.m. at the village hall, followed by dinner at 5 p.m. at the village hall, which was decorated with pink and white streamers for the occasion.

Guests from away at the wedding came from eau Claire, Madison, Marshfield, Pittsville, and Osage, Ia.
