Miss Doris J.
Karmas of Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.) and James E. Meyer of Dorchester were united
in marriage Saturday morning, Nov. 14, 1964, during a 10:30 o'clock nuptial high

her wedding the bride chose a one piece gown designed with an oval neckline,
three-quarter length sleeves and bodice extensions forming draped ties, looping

with a white orchid and white daisy mums.

of the bride, were the bridesmaids. Paul H. Kramas of Curtiss, a brother of the
bride, was groomsman, and David Kramas of Stanley, another brother, and Dennis
Gonnering of Dorchester, a friend, performed the ushering duties.
The
bride's attendants were dressed alike in royal blue floor length gowns made with
a scoop neckline, cap sleeves, and soft pleated skirts. Their matching hats were
accented with a large bow. They carried crescent shaped bouquets of yellow mums
and pompons.
Festivities of the wedding day included a breakfast
following the ceremony, an afternoon reception at the Curtiss Hall and a
four-thirty o'clock dinner at the church hall for about 260 guests. In the
evening, the new Mr. and Mrs. Meyer greeted friends at a wedding dance at
Curtiss Hall.
The bride is a graduate of the Dor-Abby High School in 1962
and has been employed at Employers' Mutual Insurance Co. at Wausau. The groom is
a 1961 graduate of the Dorchester High School and is employed at Bootzin's at
Stetsonville. They are making their home at route 1, Dorchester.
